The Invitation
It was a beautiful day! The temperatures were in the 60's and the Autumn leaves were at their peak color. Everyone was a little nervous.
The girls were very excited about the whole event. They wanted a traditional wedding, but this is as close as Shelly and I would go.
Barry Aldinger was our Justice of the Peace. Shelly had him for a teacher in High School. The ceremony went without a hitch. Oh, I guess there was a hitch! There were no hesitations from Shelly or John
Shelly made the most beautiful bride and the groom did the best he could to look handsome too! They both kept their sense of humor throughout the day.

It was a day that we will never forget. After the wedding the whole family came to our house for a catered meal and a great wedding cake.
Mt. Philo is a 15 minute
drive from our house. There is a state park there. For
a nominal fee you can drive the road to the top of the mountain. The views
of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain are fantastic!
